Prescott Historique is a cornerstone in the historic motorsport calendar specialising in showcasing the best of motorsport and hill climb machinery from 1900 to the year 2000. Taking place over the weekend of 24th and 25th May, this enchanting event will host some of the most exciting cars to have ever hill climbed in the UK. Not only can you expect to see very special cars take to the Hill as demonstration runs, but also on static display in the paddock. You will also be able to enjoy our specially curated trade village, the Riley Archive & Trust, visit the Bugatti Trust and also witness over 120 cars each day take to the Hill in full blown competition, fighting it out for trophies and bragging rights!

A MONSTER IN ITS FIELD...

‘Le Monstre’ is not your typical race car, and we are thrilled to announce that not only is it coming to Historique, but it is also driving the Hill! In 1950, after the Le Mans 24 Hour, an American race diver decided to re-body one of his 61 series Cadillacs to make it more aerodynamic and that car became known as ‘Le Monstre’. In 2018 Derek Drinkwater and his team built a faithful recreation of ‘Le Monstre’ and raced it at Le Mans Classic. Since then, the car has raced two more times at the Classic and toured in the USA, racing at Daytona, Laguna Seca, Road America and Watkins Glen. This year Derek’s ‘Monster’ is entered for Le Mans Classic again to celebrate the 50-year anniversary since the original race. The car has a Cadillac 331 engine with five carbs, just like the original and ‘3 on the tree’. Huge thank you to Derek and his team, this will be extraordinary to watch up the Hill in May.

RAF BATTLE OF BRITIAN MEMORIAL FLIGHT

Look to the sky! Two years ago we were honoured by a BBMF flyover here at Prescott, and this year on Saturday they are coming back. Prescott Historique will see one of BBMF’s famous Spitfires and a Hurricane soar over the estate, and it’s sure to be the only moment of the weekend where eyes are torn off the track to witness the heroes in the sky.

We are delighted with these historic gems we have lined up, and that’s not all. More will be revealed as we get closer to the event… so keep your eyes peeled for more news soon!
