In consideration of the sever weather conditions affecting the south coast of the country, we have undertaken a site inspection this morning to assess the impact of Storm Ciaran on Prescott Hill.
We are pleased to advise that there has been no impact on the estate and Saturdays Rallye Prescott will go ahead as planned.
The peak of the storm has now passed over Prescott Speed Hill Climb, having had very little impact on ground conditions. Grass car parks are wet but not water-logged and the forecast is for very little rain over the next 24 hours, meaning that conditions will improve.
However, to assist with public parking, we have changed some of the usual arrangements for parking at Prescott.

The current radar weather forecast for Saturday 4th November is showing that Prescott Speed Hill Climb will have rain until 1pm on Saturday, and will enjoy clear skies thereafter until the following week.
We encourage all visitors to site to dress appropriately for autumn weather, with good, waterproof, shoes or wellies, winter coats and warm hats etc.
During the course of the event The Clubhouse will be open for those seeking shelter, offering hot food and warming drinks.
The Paddock will be floodlit whilst the event which is running in darkness, but car parks and footpaths will remain unlit. We therefore recommend you bring a torch with you.
Our expert parking team will be sectioning off any exceptionally wet areas as out of bounds for parking and will be on hand to assist anyone who has difficulties driving in wet or muddy conditions.
Discounted advance spectator tickets are still available online, with Under 16’s, Carers and BOC Members benefiting from free entry.
